Last week myself, Zowie, Chris, Sam and Ros attended the first Young Designers’ Academy at the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein, Germany. Our trip consisted of training sessions, workshops and tours of the campus, learning about the Vitrashop Group; Visplay, Ansorg and Vizona.

We were able to visit the Vitra Haus and explore the various architecture around the campus, with buildings designed by Tadao Ando, Zaha Hadid, Herzog & de Meuron, Frank Gehry, Nicholas Grimshaw, Álvaro Siza, SANAA, Buckminster Fuller and Jean Prouvé.
