We’ve designed a range of colourful fundraising collateral and graphics to help children’s cerebral palsy charity PACE promote an innovative sports campaign for autumn 2014. PACE, a specialist in providing education for children with sensory motor disorders, is challenging young people to complete 1,948km (or a mini version of 198.4km) to celebrate the start of the Paralympic movement in 1948. Run, swim, cycle, skate or go by spacehopper – participants can choose any of their favourite activities to cover the distance, and are free to complete in as many stages as desired from September.
Continuing our thriving volunteering programme, a few of our designers have created information packs containing registration and pay-in-your cash forms, an introduction letter, and progress charts with stickers of distance markers that children can use to plot their progress. The original illustrations, including a cast of fun cartoon characters, help engage the young audience.
PACE aims to raise at least £20,000 from the initial launch period (September-December 2014) with potential to use the campaign on a rolling basis after this. The dedicated 1948 Challenge website goes live on 1 September 2014.
