More new work and this time another project with Guinness to redefine the brand’s airside retail experience in Dublin airport.
D&P is pleased to be continuing to partner with Guinness and this time to redefine and redesign the brand’s airside retail experience in Dublin airport. This space is a key location for the brand and offers a link to the Guinness Storehouse in St James’ Gate which many travelers would have experienced, alongside others who have visited Ireland for multiple reasons and are looking for a unique gift or keepsake from their visit.
Our ambition has been to challenge an often static and expected airport retail offer, creating an exciting, engaging space of exchange and discovery that is uniquely Guinness. This is bold, bright and playful, creating a standout destination - an ‘always Fresh’ Export Experience. Fast-paced & exciting with curation, creativity and new ways to buy.
The concept aims to answer customer needs with an offer that is dynamic, fresh, and full of expression and personal brand touches, using finishes and materials choices that support the brand principles of heightened and beautiful. Conscious choices are made throughout the space, such as the cash desk has been constructed using spelt, while the aim to upcycle and reuse existing fixtures is present throughout.
The customer enters the space with a feeling of a marketplace of ideas, products, and brand stories, while within the store is a launchpad for new, hero, or airport-only collections, giving customers something unique and showcasing a constantly evolving brand. Service is at the heart of Export House, with the opportunity of Personalisation and Engraving, to take away away the perfect keepsake.
