The EE Studio concept wins ‘The Best New Store Award’ at this year's Retail Week Awards - Well done everyone.
Congratulations for this well-deserved win - The EE Studio launched last summer in Westfield London and was defined and created as a space to empower people with the best connectivity and technology solutions for their connected lives. This forms part of EE’s new retail and brand strategy, which seeks to reinvent the role of retail in the telco industry, putting innovation, personal experience, and community front and centre.
This concept combines physical and digital experiences to bring to life the latest connected technology and the space features a range of the latest tech from game consoles to smart home devices, all within a dynamic environment to work, learn, game, and play. People can explore a host of experience zones and room sets, with each area carefully curated to give them a taste of future-connected living. In two-and-a-half months of trading, monthly footfall was 220% ahead of target, and average footfall at the new store was exponentially higher than that achieved in the comparable period at the previous EE Westfield location, and it is achieving a significantly higher net promoter score from customers. Lastly, as one judge concluded, “EE’s experiential element and the way it is pulling in customers and the immediate effect it had on footfall is a standout.” Well done again to all the partners across this project.
