‘The Art of Scent 1889 — 2014’, is an exhibition by perfume critic, Chandler Burr. The exhibition appreciates perfumery as a work of art. The exhibition allows viewers to experience perfume in its purest state by minimising any visual distraction. Jesús Cano explains the rationale behind the exhibition design was to create a relaxing atmosphere, removing any packaging and concentrating on aroma, mind and feeling. Although minimal, the use of white light, transparency and clean lines reflect clarity and beauty.
